iPhone 12 Mini – Is It Worth Trading In Your Old Phone?

Apple recently released its new iPhone 12 Mini, which are refreshed versions of the iPhone models previously released. Both phones are packed with top-of-the line technology. In fact, the iPhone 12 mini is thinner and lighter than the iPhone 11 Pro. In terms of size, both phones are larger than the iPhone 4s, though the mini version is only slightly bigger. Both models have high-speed wireless networks, support for iTunes Store, and a large display for displaying the icons on the home screen. iPhone 12 mini has no camera flash, but it does have a wide LED flash, just like the iPhone 12.

One of the best features on the iPhone 12 mini is its dual-sim functionality. Unlike many other devices in the Apple lineup, this phone is capable of running two separate instances of the iOS operating system, allowing you to use one account on the device and another on your primary computer. Dual-sim functionality allows you to switch between devices without the need to learn a new software program. This means that you can continue using the same applications and widgets on your iPhone as you do on your secondary device. If you want to use your iPhone to view web pages on your laptop, then you can do so by connecting your device to a laptop via USB. You can also view text messages and email on your mini device even when you’re not connected to a computer.

The fingerprint sensor is located on the home button of the iPhone 12 mini, which is a nice touch since it means that you can protect the device even further. The fingerprint sensor will only work on the front of the device, however, so if you need to take it off for cleaning reasons or simply because you don’t want to hassle with taking it off and putting it back on again, you won’t be able to. Although the home button lock feature is a nice addition, it’s not nearly as useful as the other features. You can set up alerts to sound whenever you put the phone down and then put it back up again without the risk of the phone going to waste. There isn’t even any software to download to get started, which makes this an annoying feature for many.

In addition to some of the things we’ve talked about in the durability section, the iPhone 12 mini offers a nice feature called wireless charging. Apple made this feature available on a few phones earlier in the year, but they have finally included it on the iPhone 12 as well as the new iPad, making it a must-have for any smart phone. Although the wireless charging feature works quite well, it does leave the battery dead on most models, so you will have to rely on charging your phone when it’s dead.

The display on the iPhone 12 mini is much smaller than before. It used to be just a part of the iPhone, sitting right below the home button on the side. While it looks less obtrusive on the new model, it’s still not something you’ll appreciate. In addition, the notch on the top of the screen means that it’s harder for the eyes to read text on the small fonts. This can result in difficult reading for those who have fine vision, especially if they’re trying to look at the screen. iphone 12 mini

The final negative point to the iPhone 12 mini is that it requires activation before it will charge. This means that the phone must be placed in a compatible charger at the time of purchase, or it won’t charge. Most cell phone plans don’t allow pre-activated phones, so if you want this feature on your iPhone 12 Mini, you will have to trade-in any current phone you may have. This isn’t a deal breaker, but it’s a small drawback that could be missed. T-Mobile doesn’t make any devices require activation, so you should be able to continue using the phone without any problems after you receive it
